Next steps

Now that you've been admitted, please follow the next steps below to begin the enrollment process. If you have questions, concerns, or special circumstances please contact the Office of Admissions.

There are two separate deposits: an enrollment deposit of $200 and an on-campus housing deposit of $200 ($400 total). If your resources require you to make these deposits at two separate times, please submit your enrollment deposit first, then complete your housing application/deposit.

Step one: submit your enrollment deposit

  • This deposit confirms your place in the incoming class. The enrollment deposit is $200 and is fully refundable until May 1 for fall entry. The enrollment deposit deadline for Spring 2015 is January 7 and is non-refundable. The priority deposit deadline for Fall 2015 is May 1.
  • Benefits to submitting a deposit early include the ability to submit a housing deposit; allowing you to be first in line for a housing assignment, as well as priority access to other important next steps to becoming a Saint.
  • If you are entering in spring semester as soon as you submit your enrollment deposit we can assign you an academic advisor!
  • Submit your enrollment deposit online or with the following deposit confirmation form. Your deposit may be submitted using any of the following formats:

Step two: housing

Our vibrant campus community supports a holistic learning experience at Saint Martin’s. Most first-year students are required to live on campus and have a meal plan. Students have a number of housing options and may choose to live in one of our two special interest communities; Norcia leadership community or Oikos residential learning community. Students also have a variety of meal plans to choose from.

  • If you plan to live on campus, you will need to submit:
    • Housing application and contract.
    • Roommate preference worksheet.
    • The $200 housing deposit is required when submitting housing application materials.
    • Some students have the option of not living on campus. To pursue this option, please submit a housing exemption request form.

Room, roommate, and special interest community preferences are considered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Step three: advising/registration and orientation

Fall 2015

Held during the summer, and with options for both first-year and transfer students, advising and registration is designed to prepare you for your first semester as a Saint. You’ll meet with an academic advisor, register for classes and begin connecting with the Saint Martin’s community. More information coming soon!

Step four: Health Center intake form

The Student Health Center provides services for a wide range of health issues, assistance with chronic medical conditions and community referrals. Access to the Student Health Center is included with your semester health services fee.

Step five: set up your Saint Martin's email account

Your student email account will be the mechanism for official university email communication.

Set up your account before you attend advising and registration.

Step six: submit your final documents

Send your final official high school and/or college transcripts to the Office of Admissions. Be sure to send all AP test reports and, IB transcripts to the Office of Admissions for evaluation.

Student-athlete registration (student athletes only)

  • If you will be participating in NCAA Div II athletics at Saint Martin’s be sure to register with NCAA Eligibility Center.

Campus life

There are endless opportunities to be involved as a Saint Martin’s student. The Office of Campus Life oversees over 30 clubs and the Associated Students of Saint Martin’s University (ASSMU).

  • Our School of Business offers programs in accounting and overall business management and is the largest program on campus. The international track allows students to get a hands-on international experience!
  • The College of Arts and Sciences offers a variety of exciting social science programs, humanities, science, mathematics, nursing, languages and the performing arts.
  • The College of Education and Professional Psychology offers a bachelor's degree program with a Washington Residency Teaching Certificate in elementary education, special education, or secondary subject area majors. CEPP additionally offers a variety of graduate programs in education and counseling psychology.
  • The Hal and Inge Marcus School of Engineering has two accredited and ABET certified undergraduate programs in civil and mechanical engineering. Our new engineering building was recently named the highest-rated LEED-certified building in the Western Hemisphere and third in the world!

Study abroad

The Office of International Programs and Development offers many exciting and transformative opportunities to get involved in the global community. They offer many affordable programs where you can study abroad in hundreds of locations around the world. Whether it be a semester abroad at one of our sister universities in Japan, or a two-week mission trip to Mexico, there is a country just waiting for you to explore!

Disability support services is committed to providing resources for students with physical, learning, and psychological disabilities. Students are encouraged to schedule a personal interview with the Disability Support Services coordinator to discuss their individual needs and support plan.
