The curriculum of the College of Arts and Sciences lies at the core of Saint Martin’s promise to deliver a strong liberal arts education. The College’s general education and elective courses expose all students to diverse ways of thinking and provide the intellectual, spiritual and ethical base for meaningful, satisfying, productive lives. Here, you can develop and refine the qualities you need to engage more fully with the world around you — critical thinking, curiosity, a sense of discovery, a broader perspective — no matter what discipline you choose as a major.

Spanning the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences, and characterized by an educational environment that is both rigorous and supportive, the College of Arts and Sciences offers 20 undergraduate major programs and 20 minor programs. It also provides instruction in a number of other disciplines and pre-professional preparation for careers in law and the health sciences.
