Prentice sets school record and Obluck named Freshman-of-the-Year at GNAC Championships October 27, 2003 The GNAC Cross Country Championships took place last Saturday in Monmouth, Oregon. The men placed 5th and the women placed 10th in a day that featured a new school record and All-Conference honors for the Saints. Andy Prentice (Jr.) finished 3rd, a mere 4.5 seconds off the first place pace, to earn All-Conference honors. His 25:03 time for an 8000 meter (4.97 miles) race is a new school record. Tris Obluck was 10th overall with a time of 25:34. Obluck was the fastest GNAC freshman and was also selected All-Conference. The men continue to be ranked 9th in the NCAA Division II West Region which includes over 30 cross country programs. Coach Brad Hooper commented, "My teams raced especially well.
