Cross Country: Riak 15th in National Catholic

Saint Martin's freshman John Riak finished 15th
overall in a time of 25:43 in the National Catholic Cross Country
Invitational Friday at South Bend, Indiana. Riak was the third overall
finisher on the 5-mile course among Division II runners.
The only other Saint runner in the Top 100 in the
race was Tris O'Bluck, who placed 89th in a time of 27:28. Saint
Martin's finished 15th in the team standings, seventh among Division II
schools.
Janelle Probst was SMU's top finisher in the women's
race, placing 38th, sixth among Division II runners. She recorded a time
of 19:26 on the 5,000 meter layout. Kaleigh Bishop placed 83rd. The
Saint women ended up 17th in the team standings, seventh among Division
II schools.
