Track: Prentice named West Region Male Athlete-of-the-Year

Lacey, WA --- Saint Martin's University standout
student-athlete Andy Prentice (Sr., Nine Mile Falls, WA) was selected as
the NCAA Division II West Region Indoor Male Athlete-of-the-Year by the
US Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
“This award is huge, I am so excited! I love this
kid; he deserves every bit of this award. He has dedicated himself
wholeheartedly to our school and to our program,” said Brad Hooper,
Saints head coach. “He has done everything Coach Sullivan and I have
asked. Lifting weights, two workouts a day, interval training until he
has puked, everything!”
“He is an outstanding role model, a super kid in
every sense of the word,” continued Hooper.
