Women’s Golf: Saints take fifth in Chico

Chico, CA – The Saint Martin’s women’s golf team
competed in their final match of the season and came home with a fifth
place finish from the two-day InterWest Chico State Invite at the Butte
Creek Country Club.
Babe Prante and Stacie Henden led the Saints and
finished tied for 10th with 158. Prante shot 78 on day one and 80 on day
two while Henden posted rounds of 77 and 81.
Lauren Roberts finished tied for 19th, shooting an
81 in both rounds. Maria Laraisse was tied for 34th and Alexi Coltom
finished 38th with two-day totals of 170 and 172 respectively.
As a team the Saints shot 320 on day one and 327 on
day two for a total of 647. The University of Victoria, BC won the event
with Kenzie Janzen and Anne Balser finishing first and second on their
way to a team total of 634. Host Chico state took second with a team
total of 640.
