Women’s Golf: Saints take second at WWU Invite

Bellingham, WA – Saint Martin’s put together two
solid rounds to post a second place finish at the Western Washington
University Women’s Golf Invitational held Monday and Tuesday at the
Bellingham Golf and Country Club.
The Saints shot the top round of day two with a 309.
Along with their total from round one they shot a combined 634.
Babe Prante led the way for the Saints finishing as
the tournament’s runner-up shooting 77 in the first round and 74 in the
second. Stacie Henden shot a two-day total of 159 and finished eighth.
Amy Dalzell and Lauren Roberts both shot 162 to tie for 15th place.
Alexi Coltom was 26th after shooting 166 during the tournament.
Western Washington won their home tournament posting
a two-round total of 626.
“The girls had a solid round one though the course
played tough due to weather conditions. They played really well again
today and had an extremely good round, shooting the lowest round of the
tournament,” said head coach Bob Grisham.
