September 1, 2008 New York, NY – Saint Martin’s University women’s golf has been ranked 18th in the Golf World/NGCA Division II Preseason College Coaches’ Poll. The Saints, who finished a best ever third in the West Region last season, return three golfers from last year’s team including, Amy Dalzell, Lauren Roberts and Alexi Coltom. “The preseason ranking and recognition is a compliment to the program and the girls returning; we are definitely excited to get the season started,” said head coach Bob Grisham. Nova Southeastern is ranked as the No. 1 in the poll to outpace defending NCAA champion Rollins, which is second in the poll. Saint Martin’s opens up their season in Arizona as they will take part in the GCU Fall Invitational September 28-29.
