Find out more

If you are interested in learning more about the Community Kitchen or Catholic Community Services, you can find out more at their official website.

What is Community Kitchen?

Alums may recall this event being named Bread & Roses. Since the early 1990s Campus Ministry has provided food and volunteers to help serve meals to those in need. This has become one of the most attended service projects offered by us with countless students attending through the years.

Transportation is provided to the downtown Olympia Salvation Army building where Community Kitchen is hosted by Catholic Community Services.

When is it?

Every first Friday of the month. A signup sheet is in the Campus Ministry lounge prior to each event. Space is limited. Transportation is arranged. Participants meet in the TUB parking lot at 4 p.m.

How do I get involved?

Feel free to contact either Susan Leyster or our student coordinator, Lyubov Pripa.
