What is HANDS?
HANDS of Campus Ministry is an official club under Associated
Students of Saint Martin's University (ASSMU). We in HANDS work
closely with Campus Ministry and get our name from what we do:
Helping All 'N' Doing Service. We are involved with the campus
community, local community and regional community in a variety of
ways. We may be best known for our community service projects
benefiting students, staff and faculty.
The symbol of hands is important to us as one way in which we
serve each other is with our hands. No matter how small, how
big, how beautiful or how cut your hands are they are powerful
tools to live compassionately and follow Christ's example.
When is it?
Meeting times vary, as do events. You may sign up to receive
direct correspondence from club leaders at HANDS or ASSMU
meetings or you may watch for Campus Ministry email that
includes information on HANDS events.
How do I get involved?
The best way is to attend a club meeting or contact the club
president,
Katie Arena.
