May 31, 2008 Lacey, WA – Saint Martin’s women’s basketball coach Tim Healy has announced his final signing for the 2008-09 school year. Kelsey Baker has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Saints next year. Baker is a 5’11” forward from Spokane, WA. She was a two year starter on a three-time 4A State Championship team at Lewis and Clark High School. “I am very happy to finish off this recruiting group with a player of Kelsey’s quality,” said Healy. “She comes from a tremendously successful program, understands how to win, is fundamentally sound and is a true team player. She compliments our program well and I feel like she is just going to get better and better.”
