Do I need a parking permit for orientation? Where do I park?
No. All visitors attending the orientation program are asked to park in Lot N, located diagonally from the Trautman Student Union Building (Building #8). See campus map.

How can I get a parking pass for the year?
Parking passes may be obtained through the Office of Campus Safety & Security in Old Main 207. Students must bring proof of current auto insurance coverage and their vehicles make, model and license plate number. All parking permits are free. For more information contact (360) 438-4555.

What should I wear?
Casual clothes are fine (your favorite SMU t-shirt is perfect!). Dress for the weather and walking around campus.

Will we get to eat?
Yes. Please see your specific orientation schedule for meals provided.

When can I move in and where do I go?
Move-in Day for new students is Thursday, August 24 from 8am-3pm. You will receive additional housing information throughout the summer providing specifics on room assignment, check-in and where to park on move-in day.
