Bell tower

The bell tower stands in the courtyard outside the Abbey Church. The bells toll on the hour and half hour, but their most vital function is to call the community to prayer. The ringing of the bells—each of which is named for a saint or Our Lady—is a reminder to turn our minds to God throughout the day in thanks and praise.
