Commencement
Saturday, May 11, 2013
2 p.m.
Marcus Pavilion
A reception hosted by the Saint Martin's Alumni Association
immediately follows the commencement ceremony, located in a large tented
area on the campus lawn west of the Grand Staircase.
Commencement is the official ceremony during which academic degrees are
conferred to graduates. The Saint Martin's University commencement program
features the awarding of degrees to bachelor and master candidates, as well
as the conferral of any honorary degrees. Also included in the program are
remarks by the president, the valedictorian and the commencement speaker,
who delivers the commencement address.
Commencement tickets
Tickets are required for entry into
the commencement ceremony. Each graduate receives seven tickets to
distribute to friends and family. We regret that we cannot make exceptions
for entry to individuals without tickets.
Commencement address
Archbishop of Seattle J. Peter Sartain, D.D., S.T.L,
will deliver the 2013 commencement address.
