Candidates for the Master of Engineering Management degree must
satisfactorily complete 33 semester hours of approved coursework, or 24
semester hours of approved coursework plus the completion of an accepted
thesis (MEM 690, six credits).
Many program arrangements meeting the requirements for the Master of
Engineering Management degree are possible.
Students are free to take any of the approved courses for which they meet the
Master of Engineering Management / Master of Civil Engineering: Dual degrees
A dual degree allows a student to pursue two degrees simultaneously.
- The student needs to be accepted in both programs.
- Up to 12 credits of cross-listed or approved courses may be applied to
- Each degree will be conferred separately upon completion of all
requirements for that specific program.

Students must take 15 credits of approved electives in the MEM, MCE, or
MBA program, with course numbers at the 500 level or above. However, if a
six credit thesis course is completed, six elective credits are needed. MEM
