Research help for extended learning students

Saint Martin's offers courses at various extended learning sites and online. Library resources and services are available to extended learning students. Off-campus access to most databases licensed by the library requires a valid Saint Martin's University network/email account: online account request form.

  • Subject guides -- suggested resources by subject, including online journals and books
  • Databases -- alphabetical list of all databases available through O'Grady Library
  • Locate a journal title -- see if the library has a specific journal you need (online and print)

Libraries and library catalogs

  • Joint Base Lewis McChord Libraries
  • O'Grady Library -- request books from Saint Martin's or any of the 35 plus Orbis Cascade Alliance member libraries. Requested items are delivered to O'Grady Library in two to three business days for you to pick up. Library accounts are automatically created for all extension students at the start of each term.
  • ILLiad -- request books or articles through interlibrary loan. Most articles are delivered electronically. Books must be picked up in person at O'Grady Library.
