Printing, scanning, and copying

Saint Martin's University now utilizes "follow-me printing" which allows print jobs to be picked up at a number of printers throughout the SMU campus regardless from where you are printing. Simply send your print job to "bw queue", "color queue" or "OG-ML-Copier" (for 11"x17") and pick them up at any of the printers listed below. These machines also allow copying and scanning unless noted otherwise. In the library:

• Upper level printing alcove
• Main level printing alcove
• Learning and Writing Center
• Technology classroom (main level -- printer only)
• Seminar room (lower level -- printer only)

• Harned Hall 1st and 2nd Floor
• Harned Hall Room 111 (printer only)
• Old Main 1st Floor
• Old Main 2nd Floor
• Old Main 3rd Floor by Business
• Old Main 4th Floor Center
• Old Main CRC
• Spangler Hall
• Baran Hall
• Parsons Hall

11x17" printing can be done at the CRC on the 3rd Floor of Old Main and in the Library main level printing alcove.

Printing from your laptop

You can print from your laptop over the wireless network through your print account. Instructions can be found here: Printing through your print account.

Printing accounts

Student printing accounts are credited $10.00 at the start of both the Fall and the Spring semesters and $5.00 at the start of the summer sessions. You can check the balance on your account via the web at print.stmartin.edu. If needed, students may purchase additional printing credit at the circulation desk by purchasing a $2 print card. (see video How-To) Please note that printing account refunds are not given and that balances are not carried over from one academic year to the next.  Printing costs are:

Guest printing

Guests may print or copy by paying with cash or check at the Circulation Desk. Scanning to e-mail or file is free. The library printer supports 8½" x 11", 8½" x 14", and 11" x 17" b/w and color printing
