Eighth Annual Dragon Boat Festival

Paddles up! The 2013 Saint Martin’s University Dragon Boat Festival was held at Port Plaza in Budd Inlet on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

This annual celebration, inaugurated in 2006, draws over 4,000 spectators. Saint Martin's University is proud to host the event with the cooperation of the Washington Dragon Boat Association.

Beyond the spirited dragon boat races, there were Chinese traditional art demonstrations, traditional lion dances, music, and martial arts performances.
