Why should I study abroad?

- Studies have shown that study abroad can strengthen marketable
career skills, such as ability to work in teams and be flexible.
Additionally, graduate school selection committees and employers
often regard applicants with study abroad experience more favorably
than those without.

What do I need to know
about studying abroad?
- You do NOT need to speak a foreign language to study abroad.
- You can earn credit toward your major, minor, or elective requirements.
- The cost of a semester abroad is approximately the same as a
semester at Saint Martin's, and often your financial aid will
transfer.
- You can study abroad for a semester, year, or choose from one
of our exciting Study Tours.
Summer programs are also
available.
- The minimum GPA for study abroad programs is 2.5, although some
programs require higher. Additionally, you must be in good standing
with the university, and have completed at least 12 collegiate
credits.

Saint Martin's has programs that you can study
abroad at in 100's of locations around the world. Pick from a university
located in Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Egypt,
England, France, Ghana, India, Israel, Italy, Ireland, Korea, Japan,
Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, and Wales!
