Dr. Richard "Doc" Hecker is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and
anesthesiologist. He practiced anesthesiology and critical care
medicine at All Health Care Facilities, Santa Rosa Children’s
Hospital, and Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas and
was senior aviation medical examiner at the Federal Aviation
Administration in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dr. Hecker helped found STAR Anesthesia PA in San Antonio and was
assistant clinical professor of anesthesiology and both the
University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and the
Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda,
Maryland.
In addition to his medical career, Dr. Hecker and his wife, Dr.
Kelly Spence, own two investment companies, Hecker Investments, LLC
and Paradox Investment, Ltd. Dr. Hecker is a 1981 graduate of Saint
Martin’s College.
