Gentle yoga
Unwind from a long day. Bring yourself to the mat to detox, de-stress
and reconnect with your inner resources. This class combines traditional
yogic breathing and asana with energy, sound, neurodevelopment,
meditative and kinesiological principles to produce a subtle body
experience that is restorative and regenerative. Be prepared to feel the
tension melt away! Coda yoga is the perfect end to a perfect day.
(Please bring a blanket or throw for savasana).
Little dragons karate class - ages 5-10
Space is limited to 10 student, not including parents.
Come and learn the basics of karate with the Little dragons
karate class. The class introduces children to the wonderful and
exciting world of martial arts through skills-oriented games. Children
have fun while developing skills that they will use in everyday life and
school. This program will improve your child's ability to focus and
concentrate, balance, develop coordination, and respect for others. The
games with play in class help students develop memory, balance,
strength, control, and a positive attitude. Class times are 30 minutes
and parents are welcome and encourages to participate, but not required.
Core yoga
My classes are designed to deliver health benefits to both mind and
body. We will start with a warm up phase, which includes time to connect
our breath and our movement. We then move into a more active phase which
includes sun salutations and warrior poses that help stretch and
strengthen our bodies and improve flexibility and balance. We then
finish up with relaxing poses and a brief meditation that leaves us
feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Power yoga
Major muscle groups and the core are stretched and strengthened in
this one hour course created with everyone from athletes to non-athletes
in mind. The practice offers both a rejuvenating and relaxing
experience. For some participants, they will feel recharged and
energized, for others, the class will be ideal for unwinding and
bringing peaceful closure to the end of the day.
Zumba
Are you ready to dance yourself into shape? That's exactly what the
zumba program is all about. Latin cardio dance is a form to release
stress and to maintain a healthy body, burning up to 1000 calories each
session. You will be dancing to Latin music and movements that are easy
to learn. The class is an hour long with three 30 second breaks. Wear
gym clothes and tennis-shoes. Everyone is welcome - no dancing skills
necessary.
