Washington Legislative Internships
The department participates in the Washington State Legislative
Internship Program where students spend the spring semester working with
staff and members of the Washington State House of Representatives or
Senate. Student interns typically do legislative research, bill tracking
and constituent correspondence. They have an opportunity to attend
committee hearings and other meetings and interact with staff and
legislators.
